Ms. Hasty's latest CD
"Christmas is Love" will benefit Windows of
Hope Family Relief Fund which provides aid to the families
of victims of the World Trade Center tragedy who worked
in the foodservice profession throughout the entire
complex.
Ms Hasty has been performing
for more than 25 years in restaurants, lounges, supper
clubs as well as international venues and felt a personal
connection to the Windows of Hope fund. "I have
been blessed to work with the people who are the heart
and soul of the hospitality industry -chefs, servers,
cooks busboys cashiers, bartenders cocktail waitresses
and waiters. As a parent and teacher, I cannot even
articulate the pain and sympathy I feel for the families
who must suffer the unbearable losses of that horrific
day. As a musician I hope along with everyone else who
donated freely of their time and talents that we- along
with those who buy this CD-- can in some way make a
difference. This song will hopefully help to spread
the love and assistance so desperately needed now."
Ms. Hasty will be performing
"On a Wing and a Prayer" live at the "OZ"
Theatre DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED. "On a Wing and a
Prayer" is a collaboration with her sister Nancy
Hasty. A rich tribute to the music of WWII through personal
