"Oz", the Emerald
Coast Children's Community Theatre is located on Max Bruner
Middle School campus in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The theatre
is a state of the art facility complete with stadium seating
and a state of the art light and sound system.
"Oz" is a community
theatre in the truest sense! We are a non-profit theatre built
for the community and staffed by professional volunteers from
the community.We ofer live musical productions, non-musical
repertory productions, voice training, and dance instruction.
Our
Purpose:
The Emerald Coast Children's
Community Theatre, Inc. is organized exclusively for charitable
and educational purposes, more specifically to:
- Celebrate
and promote the performing arts.
- To promote
the study, improvement and advancement of the arts, and
to promote achievement among those aspiring to the theatrical
professions and other artistic, theatrical dance and musical
activities.
- To advance
the knowledge of and encourage new talent for the professional
arts, to hold competitions and exhibitions, and to help
preserve and embellish the traditions of the American Stage.
- To include
diverse cultures and backgrounds in conceiving, planning,
and implementing artistic programs.
- To encourage
and strengthen community involvement and participation in
the arts at every level.
- To encourage and support
arts education.
